The promotion of the community engagement opportunities in Italy represents one of the pillars of Florence University of the Arts (FUA) and The American University of Florence (AUF) as rigorous, academic, and community engaged institutions, and of the Palazzi Community Engagement Member Institutions (CEMI). CEMI are culturally integrated spaces that foster active civic engagement between FUA academics and the international community of Florence.

FUA International shares and advocates the joint goal of FUA and AUF: to promote academic opportunities that connect classroom knowledge into real life experiences in international contexts.

As an organization committed to supporting students’ cultural integration in Italy, FUA International also offers advising services about studies and life in Florence to U.S.-based individuals that are in the process of enrolling at FUA or AUF. FUA International aims to be an accessible resource to affiliated, US-based organizations and individuals for community engagement opportunities and studies at FUA and AUF.
